Members & Roles
Invite teammates to your organization, assign roles, and control what each member can do.
Inviting members
You invite members by email from the Settings > Members section of your organization. Enter the email address, choose a role, and send the invite.
- The invitee receives an email with a join link tied to the organization.
- If they do not have an MR Labs account yet, the link guides them through sign-up first.
- If they already have an account, the link adds the organization to their account immediately.
Only Owners and Admins can send invitations.
Invitation expiry
Every invitation expires after 7 days. If an invite is not accepted within that window, it is automatically invalidated and the email address is freed up to be re-invited.
You can also manually revoke a pending invitation at any time from the Members screen before it expires.
Roles & permissions
There are four roles in an organization. The table below shows what each role can do.

Managing members
From the Settings > Members screen, Owners and Admins can manage the member roster.
- Change a role: Select a new role from the dropdown next to a member. The change takes effect immediately.
- Remove a member: Click remove next to a member to revoke their access. They are removed from the organization but their account is not deleted.
- Cancel a pending invite: Revoke an outstanding invitation before it is accepted or expires.
The Owner role cannot be removed or downgraded by anyone else. To transfer ownership, the current Owner assigns the Owner role to another member, which demotes themselves to Admin.
