Platform: Getting Started

Learn the basics of the MR Labs platform. Create an account, set up your first organization, and find your way around the dashboard.

Create your account

Sign up

Go to the MR Labs sign-up page and create an account with your email address and a password. You can also sign up with a social provider if one is available.

Verify your email

Check your inbox for a verification email and click the link inside. This confirms ownership of the email address and activates your account.

Sign in

Once verified, sign in with your credentials. You will land on the platform home screen, ready to create your first organization.

Create your first organization

An organization is the workspace that holds your forms, quizzes, games, submissions, and billing. Every account starts with no organization, so the first thing you will do is create one.

Open the organization prompt

After signing in, you are prompted to create your first organization. Enter a display name (e.g. Acme Inc.) and a slug (e.g. acme). The slug is used in your URLs.

Confirm

Click Create organization. You are taken to the organization dashboard and the sidebar becomes available.

The organization dashboard

The dashboard is the landing page for an organization. It gives you a quick overview and shortcuts to the most common actions.

  • AI form builder hero: A prominent card that launches the AI form builder. Describe what you want in plain language and the builder generates a form draft you can refine.
  • Usage ring: A circular progress indicator showing how much of your current plan's submission quota has been used. The ring fills as responses come in and resets on your billing cycle.
  • Recent activity: A short list of recently created or updated forms, quizzes, and games so you can jump back into work.

Navigating the sidebar

The sidebar is your primary navigation tool inside an organization. It is always visible on desktop and collapses into a menu on smaller screens.

  • Forms: Create, edit, and manage all forms in this organization.
  • Quizzes: Build scored quizzes with automatic grading.
  • Games: Create interactive, game-style experiences.
  • Analytics: View response trends, completion rates, and other metrics across your content.
  • Usage: Track submission counts against your plan limits in real time.
  • Settings: Manage organization details, members, roles, and tier limits.
  • Billing: View invoices, update payment methods, and change your subscription tier.
