Live Mode

Live Mode turns a quiz into a real-time, host-led session. Instead of participants completing the quiz independently at their own pace, a host drives the session and advances through questions one at a time. All participants see the same question simultaneously and submit answers within a timed window.

Live quizzes are ideal for classroom settings, team trivia, training workshops, and interactive events where synchronized participation matters.

Each live session generates a unique join code that participants enter to join the session. The code is short and easy to share verbally or via a link. A participant enters the code on the join page and is added to the session roster instantly.

The host view shows a live roster of joined participants. The host can see who has joined, who has submitted an answer for the current question, and who is still pending. Participants can be removed from a session if needed.

After each question closes, the leaderboard updates with cumulative scores across all participants. The leaderboard ranks participants by total points and highlights movement between positions. Participants see their own rank and score in real time.

The host controls the pace. For each question the host reveals the prompt, waits for submissions, then reveals the correct answer and the score distribution before advancing. This keeps all participants in sync and creates a shared experience.

When a session ends, the final results are available for export. The export includes each participant's total score, per-question breakdown, and ranking. Results can be downloaded for record-keeping or further analysis.
